Krazmoul
The world of giant insects: hive-cities of wax and resin, as tall as mountains, ruled by queens no stranger has ever seen.
On Krazmoul, insects have taken the place other worlds reserve for peoples. They are giant there — the largest exceed six metres — and they build. Krazmoul is covered with their cities.
The hive cities
The hive cities of Krazmoul are towers of hardened wax and amber resin, kilometres tall, pierced by millions of cells. They are warm, they hum constantly with a low drone heard a hundred kilometres away, and they grow by themselves: the hive is never finished.
The invisible queens
Each hive obeys a queen who lives at the very bottom, in a chamber no outsider has ever reached. The few Arazian expeditions stopped halfway: beyond that point, the corridors close. And so no one knows what the queens look like, nor how many there are, nor whether they know the galaxy exists.
