Planet
Miroza
The mirror world: a crust of polished crystal that gives back the sky, where one walks upon the stars and gets lost for want of landmarks.

Miroza is entirely covered by a crust of polished crystal. There is no soil, no sand, no grass: nothing but a smooth surface that gives back everything passing above it. Seen from space, the planet shines like a glass marble.
Walking on the sky
On the great plains of Miroza, the ground reflects the sky so faithfully that one no longer knows where a foot is landing. By day you walk in the clouds; by night you walk upon the stars. The few explorers who have set down there all tell the same story: after an hour, you no longer know whether you are moving forward or falling.
The translucent fauna
The animals of Miroza are transparent. You do not see them: you see the place where the light bends. There is the vitram, a great glass herbivore that grazes on crystal; the shilaq, a predator betrayed only by its shadow; and swarms of plims, small flying creatures that chime like bells when they collide.
